Joe Gelineau

Chief Of Plans at United States Cyber Command

Joe Gelineau has a diverse work history in the military and national security field. Joe started their career in 2006 as an instructor at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Joe then worked as a student at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the Basic Strategic Arts Program (BSAP) in 2009 and 2011 respectively. In 2010, they served as a planner in the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and as a branch head in the US Army TRADOC. From 2011 to 2014, Joe worked as a strategist and planner at NATO SOF Headquarters and later joined the United States Cyber Command as a planner from 2014 to 2016. Joe then attended the National War College as a student from 2016 to 2017. Joe'smost recent role is Chief of Plans at the United States Cyber Command, a position they have held since 2017.

Joe Gelineau earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Delaware from 1993 to 1997. Joe then pursued a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Indiana University Bloomington between 2005 and 2006. In 2016 to 2017, Joe attended the National War College and obtained a Master's degree in National Security Policy Studies.
