Ross Galarneault

Director, Championships (scoring And World Amateur Golf Ranking)

Ross Galarneault has extensive experience in the golf industry, currently serving as the Director of Championships (Scoring and World Amateur Golf Ranking) at the United States Golf Association (USGA) since February 2001. In various roles at USGA, Ross has focused on scoring systems, business development for the GHIN and handicapping, and served as the Director of Scoring. Prior to USGA, Ross was VP of Administration at Meet Minneapolis from June 1999 to December 2000 and held several positions at the Minnesota Golf Association, including Executive Director and Technical Director, from December 1983 to February 1999. Ross also contributed part-time as Executive Director for the International Association of Golf Administrators from 1988 to 1995. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, earned between 1980 and 1984.
