Huda Shaibo

Huda Shaibo is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and administrative support. Currently serving as a Finance Specialist at the United States Institute of Peace since October 2022, Huda provides accounting and budget management support while liaising with the Sudanese field office and the Finance and Contracts team in Washington, DC. Prior to this role, Huda held various positions including Financial Controller at ZOA NGOs from January 2016 to January 2021, where budget development and expenditure analysis were key responsibilities. Other notable positions include Administrative Officer at NAMA for Piles Co. Ltd. and Accountant & Administrative Assistant at Cooperazione Internationale-COOPI, among others. Huda holds several certifications in finance management, accounting, and advanced software applications, complemented by a diploma in accounting from Sudan University of Science & Technology.
