Maria Antonia Montes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in peacebuilding and conflict resolution, currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at the United States Institute of Peace since January 2015. Montes has played a pivotal role in shaping the Latin American Program, overseeing significant initiatives such as a $2 million Inter-Agency Agreement with USAID/Colombia focused on rural justice and security.
