Kenneth Gatten III

Kenneth Gatten III is an accomplished professional currently serving as an intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce within the Bureau of Industry and Security's Office of Export Enforcement since August 2023, where research on export controls and treaty compliance is conducted as part of a Master of Public Policy senior capstone project. Additionally, Kenneth serves as an International Trade Analyst (Trainee) at the U.S. International Trade Commission, assessing regulations and trade agreements to support investigations relevant to international trade. Previous experiences include an International Business Development Intern role at the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development, where efforts were focused on expanding export assistance and foreign direct investment, and a Research Assistant position at Penn State College of the Liberal Arts, contributing to a nationally recognized podcast. With a solid academic background, including a Master of Public Policy and a Graduate Certificate in International Development Policy from Penn State, Kenneth has demonstrated strong leadership and analytical skills across various internships and volunteer roles.
