Fred Thaden

Fred Thaden currently serves as the Deputy Director of Space Delta 13 and Chief Human Resources for the United States Space Force, having been promoted to this position in November 2022. Prior to this role, Fred Thaden had an extensive career in the United States Air Force from June 2010 to June 2022, where key positions included Commander of Detachment 855 at Brigham Young University, Director of the Talent Management Innovation Cell, Commander of the 87th Air Base Wing, Director of Manpower, Personnel, & Services (AMC/A1), Vice Commander of the 75th Air Base Wing, and Chief of Manpower and Personnel for EUCOM in Stuttgart, Germany. Fred Thaden holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in National Security Strategy from the National Defense University and a Master's in Military Operational Art and Science from the USAF Air Command and Staff College, along with a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
