United States Space Force
Grace Vlach is a proficient aerospace engineer with a strong foundation in space operations and research. Currently serving as a Space Operations Officer for the United States Space Force since May 2022, Grace is also a graduate student in the AFIT-CI program, selected as one of ten officers nationwide for the AFROTC GSP. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech from July 2021 to May 2022, where responsibilities encompassed leading hypersonic wind tunnel projects, conducting sophisticated testing, and utilizing CAD and MATLAB for component modeling and data analysis. Additionally, Grace served as a Resident Advisor at Virginia Tech from January 2021 to May 2021, managing a large residential community and responding to emergencies while providing mentorship to fellow students. Grace earned both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech.
