Jacob Byers

Jacob Byers currently serves as the Chief of Cyber Warfare Development at the United States Space Force, where responsibilities include developing and shaping cyber forces. Previously, Jacob held the position of Assistant Director of Operations at the 68th Cyberspace Squadron, focusing on building cyber defense forces. As a Senior Executive Officer for Space Base Delta 1, Jacob oversaw critical operations for the Global Strategic Warning/Space Surveillance Systems Center, ensuring support for USSPACECOM and NORAD/NORTHCOM. Jacob's prior experience with the United States Air Force includes roles as Crew Commander and various positions in missile operations, encompassing leadership and strategic management in high-stakes environments. Jacob holds a Master of Public Administration from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from the same institution.
