Timothy W. Vandaveer

Timothy W. Vandaveer currently serves as the Area Manager for Reliability Centered Maintenance at United States Steel Corporation, overseeing operations at Gary Works Primary and Midwest Plants since May 2000. In 2019, Timothy led the Steelmaking division in achieving reliability goals by fostering trust, knowledge sharing, and implementing structured processes for sustainable business improvement. Previous experience includes working as a Production Employee at National Steel Corporation from 2000 to 2002 and serving as an Assistant Manager at Penske Automotive Group from January 1999 to May 2000, where responsibilities included customer service and inventory management. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology & Engineering from Southern Illinois University and an Associate of Science in Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology from Southwestern Illinois College.
