Charlie Kaufman

Charlie Kaufman has a diverse work experience in various roles within the media and entertainment industry. Charlie started their career as a Chef/Butcher at Bennedetti's Meat Market and Deli in 2010. Afterwards, they worked as an Anchor, Writer, Producer, Editor, and Videographer at OREGON NEWS, where they shot, wrote, directed, and produced packages for the news organization.

In 2013, Kaufman joined DreamWorks Animation as a Production Assistant, where they facilitated oversight and management of production operations, ensuring smooth schedules and effective communication among teams in China and the U.S. Charlie then moved on to Illumination Entertainment as a Production Assistant, providing comprehensive support to the development team and managing script changes and story responsibilities.

Kaufman's next role was at IMAX as a Digital Coordinator, where they facilitated creative direction and managed distribution processes for films across domestic and global lines. Charlie collaborated with vendors and sub-vendors to execute localized distribution and ensured compliance with each country's branding requirements.

In 2018, Kaufman joined Lemonlight as a Production Manager and later as a Creative Producer. Charlie successfully developed and produced affordable video content for brands, built customer relationships through transparency and communication, and identified up-sell opportunities. Charlie then worked at Spin Master as a Producer and Project Manager, collaborating with internal stakeholders, managing multiple digital projects, and overseeing production needs and third-party relationships.

Kaufman's most recent experience includes working at Lemonlight again, this time as a Director. Charlie led the production team in all phases of media creation, managed video content creation, and supervised the production team on set.

Currently, Kaufman is employed as a Video Project Manager at United Talent Agency, where they utilize their skills to manage video projects for the agency.

Charlie Kaufman attended the University of Oregon from 2010 to 2013, where they pursued a degree in Electronic Media Production with a focus on Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Additionally, Kaufman also has experience studying Film/Cinema/Video Studies at Humboldt State University, although specific start and end dates for this educational period are unavailable.
