Julia Matias has a diverse range of work experience in the entertainment industry. Julia started their career in 2018 as a Development Intern at Baboon Animation. In 2019, they worked as a Production Intern at Showtime Networks Inc., specifically on the show Desus & Mero, and also as a Production & Development Intern at OBB Media. Julia further gained experience as a Development Intern at Optomen Productions. Additionally, they worked as a Production Assistant at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. From 2020 to 2021, Julia worked as a Creative Development and Talent Intern at Comedy Central, a division of ViacomCBS. In 2021, they joined The Gersh Agency as an Assistant in Comedy Touring.
