Monica Medellin

Monica Medellin is an accomplished unscripted TV director and producer currently affiliated with United Talent Agency since January 2023. As the creator and executive producer of Prime Video's first women's sports documentary series, Surf Girls Hawai'i, Monica has significantly contributed to the representation of women's sports in media. With extensive experience spanning roles at Hello Sunshine, Red Bull Media House, and TOGETHXR, Monica has directed and produced various impactful projects, including Surf Girls: Kaikaina. Educationally, Monica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Oregon and has also shared expertise as a guest lecturer at the University of Southern California, focusing on storytelling for action sports. Additional achievements include work as an underwater director of photography for McDonald's and the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
