Tara Tomlinson

Tara Tomlinson is a seasoned clinical trials professional with extensive experience in coordination and management within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as the Lead Clinical Trials Coordinator at United Therapeutics Corporation since June 2019, Tara has progressed through various roles including Senior and Clinical Trials Coordinator. Prior to this, Tara worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator - Oncology at Duke University Health System, where responsibilities included maintaining subject documentation and managing study participant interactions. Additional experience includes medical operations coordination at INC Research, where specialized knowledge in international study guidelines was provided, as well as a research coordinator role at Wake Research Associates, focusing on gastrointestinal studies. Tara holds a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from North Carolina State University.
