Michael Rooney CRL has over a decade of experience at United Utilities, currently serving as the Maintenance & Reliability Manager since November 2010. In this role, Michael is responsible for implementing a maintenance reliability strategy across the organization, enhancing maintenance performance, and achieving compliance with key performance indicators. Previous positions include Network Delivery Manager and various area delivery roles, focusing on service delivery standards and regulatory compliance. As Water Production Manager, Michael led operations and maintenance teams to ensure secure water supplies and high-quality service delivery. Additionally, as Water Maintenance Manager, responsibilities included managing maintenance activities and developing investment strategies for water production assets. Michael holds an HND in Mechanical & Manufacture Engineering from Wigan & Leigh Engineering College and completed earlier education at St. Cuthberts RC High.
