Rae Hutchins

Rae Hutchins has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer of United Veterinary Care, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Adjunct Faculty Member at North Carolina State University- College of Veterinary Medicine starting from December 2014. Rae also worked as the Group Vice President at VCA Animal Hospitals from January 2020 to March 2021.

Rae has held multiple roles at Pet Partners LLC, including Chief Operating Officer from October 2018 to December 2019 and Area Medical Director from September 2016 to October 2018. Earlier in their career, Rae worked at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas, where they served as the Medical Director from April 2016 to October 2018 and as a Veterinary Medicine Specialist from August 2012 to October 2018.

Rae Hutchins earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2004. Following this, they attended North Carolina State University - College of Veterinary Medicine from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with a focus on Veterinary Medicine. In 2012, they obtained the certification of Diplomate in Veterinary Internal Medicine: Small Animal (DACVIM) from North Carolina State University - College of Veterinary Medicine.
