Lesa M. George's work experience includes various roles and positions in different companies. Lesa M. started their career in 2001 at Evans Consoles, where they served as the Director of Marketing and later as Manager of Project Management. In 2004, they joined Ideaca (now Hitachi Solutions) as the Director of Solutions Consulting and later as the Sales Director. Lesa M. also worked as a Project Manager for Shaw Communications on a contract basis through Ideaca. In 2010, Lesa became the Director of Business Transformation at Shaw Communications until 2013. Lesa M. then joined United Way of Calgary and Area as a Campaign Manager for Resource Development on a contract basis. In 2014, Lesa became the VP of Technology & Innovation at WhoZaGood Inc. Lesa M. returned to United Way of Calgary and Area in 2018 as the Director of Digital Business Development until 2020. Lesa M. then took on the role of Director of Digital Engagement. Currently, they hold the position of VP Transformation at United Way of Calgary and Area. Lesa's experience also includes serving as a trained Sr. Consciousness Coach at The Centre For Transformation since 2010, where they practice Consciousness Coaching outside of regular business hours.

Lesa M. George has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, which was obtained from 1979 to 1983. Lesa M. also earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing from McGill University, completing it between 1986 and 1992. Additionally, Lesa pursued an MBA from McGill University at an undefined time.
