Candace Oneil

Candace ONeil has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Candace is currently serving as the Vice President of Community Engagement at the United Way of Central Alabama since July 2023. Prior to that, from March 2022 to July 2023, they worked at the United Way of Central Alabama, holding a role in Events and Administration.

In 2021, Candace worked at Daxko as an Account Strategy and Services Manager, Agency.

From November 2018 to August 2021, they held the position of Public Relations and Marketing Manager at the Birmingham Airport Authority.

Before that, from September 2016 to November 2018, Candace served as a Public Relations and Marketing Specialist at Cornerstone Schools of Alabama.

Their professional journey also includes positions such as a Marketing Specialist at the Birmingham Airport Authority from 2010 to 2016, a Commercial Production role at CBS 42 from 2007 to 2010, and a Team Leader/Lead Account Manager at MailSouth from 2005 to 2007.

Candace started their career as a Media Specialist at Faith Chapel Christian Center from 2004 to 2005.

Candace ONeil has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from the University of Montevallo. Candace also holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
