Kadie Peters

Vice President Of Allocations & Grants at United Way Of Central Alabama

Kadie Peters has a wide range of work experience in the non-profit sector. Kadie has held various roles in different organizations, starting with their position as a WAGE$ Coordinator/Training Coordinator at Children's Forum from 2004 to 2006. Kadie then worked as a Training Coordinator for the Harris Institute for Infant Mental Health and Young Parents Project at Florida State University from 2006 to 2007. After that, they served as a Program Support Specialist at Childcare Resources from 2009 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Kadie worked as a Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities Program Director/Coordinator, where they helped communities address childhood obesity through policy, practice, and environmental changes. Kadie then joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 2016, participating in their Culture of Health Leaders Program Cohort until 2019.

Most recently, Kadie has been working at the United Way of Central Alabama since 2014. Kadie has held the positions of Vice President of Community Impact, Health, Vice President of Community Impact Strategy and Resource Development, and currently serves as the Vice President of Allocations & Grants. In their current role, Kadie leads a team responsible for managing over $25 million in annual allocation and grant investments, ensuring a positive impact on the community.

Kadie Peters attended Auburn University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, with a focus on General studies.
