Keetra Burnette, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various sectors. Keetra is currently working as the Senior Director of Stakeholder Engagement at the United Way of Dane County, where they lead efforts to engage various stakeholders and community members. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Community Impact at the same organization, where they implemented strategies to achieve community goals.
Before joining the United Way, Keetra served as the Chief Operating Officer at the Urban League of Greater Madison, where they provided operational leadership and managed numerous education and workforce development initiatives. Keetra also served as the Vice-President of Investor Relations at the same organization.
Keetra was also the President of the Madison Network of Black Professionals, where they created a vision and executed the mission to positively impact the African American community in Madison, Wisconsin.
Earlier in their career, Keetra worked at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics as an Education Specialist and Clinical Applications Trainer, where they prepared staff for the implementation of a new electronic health system.
Keetra also has experience as a Writer, Speaker, Educator, and Mentor at their own company, Burnette, Inc. Keetra worked as a Contributing Writer at UMOJA Magazine and as a Marketing Intern at UW-Extension Conference Centers. Additionally, they gained experience as a Broadcast News Intern at NBC 15 - WMTV.
Throughout their career, Keetra has demonstrated strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a commitment to community engagement.
Keetra Burnette has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Project Management. Keetra obtained this degree from Herzing University from 2015 to 2016. Prior to their MBA, Keetra also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, they have another MBA degree in Business Management from Edgewood College, although the specific dates of their enrollment are not provided.
