United Way of Dane County
Lauren Martin has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. From 2014 to the present, they have been working at the United Way of Dane County, starting as the Director of Community Impact, Born Learning and then progressing to the role of Senior Director of Community Impact. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, Lauren held the position of Assistant Director of AmeriCorps and Strategic Collaborations at the same organization. Before joining the United Way, they worked as the Pro Bono Outreach Program Coordinator at Mental Health America of Colorado from 2008 to 2010.
Lauren Martin completed their Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Psychology at Washington University in St. Louis from 1998 to 2002. Lauren then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Denver, specializing in Social Work, during the period from 2006 to 2008.
