Vice President, Early Childhood Initatives at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas

Abigail Sharp, LPC-S, is a seasoned professional in early childhood initiatives and mental health counseling, currently serving as a Board Member for First3Years since April 2023 and holding the position of Vice President of Early Childhood Initiatives at the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas since January 2019. Previously, Abigail Sharp was the Senior Director of Strong Start and the Licensed Family Support Specialist at Cook Children's Health Care System. Other notable roles include Senior Director of Family Support Services at The SAFE Alliance and Director of Shelter Services at STARRY. Abigail Sharp has also contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at National American University. Abigail Sharp holds a Master of Arts in Community Mental Health Counseling from George Fox University, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and Psychology from Concordia University-Portland, respectively.
