Head Of Basic Needs at United Way of Northeast Florida

Jeff Winkler has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Jeff began their career at Communities In Schools of Jacksonville in 1997 as a Program Manager and later became the Director of Drop Out Prevention. In 2001, they became the Lead Student Advocate for Take Stock in Children. From 2002 to 2005, Jeff worked as the Director of Student Enrichment at Communities In Schools of Jacksonville. In 2004, they joined the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce as the Youth Skills Grant Manager. Jeff then joined United Way of Northeast Florida in 2006 and held various positions including Director of the Real$ense Prosperity Campaign, Head of Administration and Strategy, and currently serves as the Head of Basic Needs. Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting and enriching the lives of students and individuals in need.

Jeff Winkler obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Jacksonville University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their academic background, Jeff also holds certifications from the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (AIRS) Accreditation Program. Jeff obtained these certifications in February 2014 and June 2021.
