Dawn Thostesen

Dawn Thostesen is the current Chief Financial Officer/ VP Finance and Administration at United Way of Northwest Indiana. Dawn has previous experience as an Executive Director of Finance at Ivy Tech Community College, a Treasurer at St. John's Lutheran Church, and a Plant Accountant and Supervisor of Yield Management at W. G. Block and USAir/Piedmont Aviation.

Dawn Thostesen is responsible for all functions relating to financial affairs and financial management at United Way of Northwest Indiana. Dawn is also a Co-Leader on Statewide Initiative for cost savings demonstrating $25.2M annual savings and $21.5M one time savings to date, statewide team member for Furniture Procurement, statewide team member for Green Sustainability Initiatives.

Dawn Thostesen has a Master of Science in Management from The College of New Jersey and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from The College of New Jersey.

Dawn Thostesen reports to Adam O'Doherty, President and CEO. They are on a team with Kasie Tenbarge - Chief Development Officer, Anicia Kosky - Chief Impact Officer. Some individuals on their team include Rebecca Johnson - HR Coordinator, George Kuebler - VITA Manager& IT Specialist, and Lupe Domingues - Finance Manager.
