Gerardo Becerra has extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and career development, serving as Treasurer and Board Member for the Lupus Foundation of Southern California, and previously holding the position of President of the organization. Gerardo has also contributed significantly to student employment services at Southwestern Community College as a Job Developer for internships, focusing on fostering relationships with faculty and businesses to enhance job placement opportunities for students in Career Technical Education programs. In addition to previous roles as a Career Advisor at ResCare and Board Member for Combined Health Agencies, Gerardo has a solid background in project management and administrative services from a long tenure at The San Diego Union Tribune Publishing Company. Gerardo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from San Diego State University.
