Elizabeth Torres

Elizabeth Torres, CPA has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Currently, they hold the role of Managing Director of Finance at United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Prior to this, they spent several years at PwC, where they held positions such as Senior Manager, Manager, and Senior. During their time at PwC, Elizabeth focused on normalizing structured and unstructured data sets to create visualization analytics that facilitated decision-making. Elizabeth also worked on bridging the gap between business and technical teams to promote a data-centric culture. Before PwC, Elizabeth worked as an Intern at Credit Suisse, where they played a role in migrating client order flow and designing new Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). Additionally, they gained experience as an Intern at DeSantis & Co CPA, where they developed financial statements for medium to small-sized firms and assisted in a forensic accounting investigation.

Elizabeth Torres, CPA completed their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems & Accounting from Temple University from 2006 to 2011. Elizabeth also obtained another Bachelor's degree in Accounting and MIS from the Fox School of Business at Temple University during the same period.
