Krystal Levstek, CNP, currently serves as the Coordinator of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and HMIS Reporting Specialist at United Way of Summit & Medina since July 2021. Prior to this role, Krystal worked as a Network Research Connector at Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank from June 2017 to July 2021, focusing on mapping food access and collaborating with community partners. Krystal's experience also includes serving as a PantryTrak Capacity Development Coordinator with AmeriCorps VISTA from June 2015 to June 2017, enhancing the capacity of the PantryTrak program, and working as a Teaching Assistant at Kent State University, where Krystal taught Physical Geography Labs and assisted in various courses from August 2013 to May 2015. Additionally, Krystal was a GIS and Program Development Intern at The Butler Collaborative for Families, contributing to youth policy initiatives in early 2013. Krystal began the academic journey at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies in 2013 and completing coursework at Kent State University without a thesis in Geography from 2013 to 2015.
