Michele Darland

Michele Darland is an experienced professional in relationship advancement and communications, currently serving as the Senior Director of Relationship Advancement at United Way Quad Cities since February 2023. Previously, Michele held the position of Development Director at Gilda's Club Quad Cities from May 2020 to February 2023 and served as the Relationship Advancement Director at Putnam Museum and Science Center from February 2017 to April 2020, focusing on donor engagement and community impact. Earlier roles included Communications and Brand Manager at The Sedona Group, where Michele managed brand identity and marketing efforts, and Account Executive positions at Nehlsen Communications and Charleston|Orwig, where Michele cultivated client relationships and managed advertising campaigns. Michele holds a B.A. in Broadcast Film from the University of Iowa and a high school diploma from Pleasant Valley High School.
