Jesse Allerton

Jesse Allerton serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Communications at United Way since July 2023, focusing on developing and executing integrated communication strategies to enhance awareness of organizational priorities. Previously, Jesse held roles at YMCA of the USA from June 2015 to July 2023, including Director of Marketing Communications and Senior Marketing Communications Manager, where responsibilities encompassed creating marketing strategies supporting social responsibility and leading the Welcoming Week campaign. Earlier experience at Rotary International from October 2004 to June 2015 included supervisory and coordinator roles in service and networking programs, implementing communication plans and managing recognition programs for volunteers. Jesse earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Arts in English from Loyola University Chicago.
