Maya W. has a diverse professional background with a focus on event operations and administrative support. Currently, as the Manager of Event Operations & MGLC at United Way since June 2018, Maya contributes to managing events and operational logistics. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Associate in Conferences and Event Solutions at the same organization and an Administrative Assistant position at NRI Staffing and Goodwin House Incorporated, where skills in electronic medical records and document management were developed. Additional experience includes serving as an Academic Mentor at Trilogy Mentors and a Genetics Preceptor at Virginia Commonwealth University. Maya earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017.
