Sonja Gholston-Byrd

Sonja Gholston-Byrd is an experienced leader in labor engagement and community advocacy, currently serving as the Vice President of Labor Engagement at United Way since 2019. Prior to this role, Sonja held the position of Director at United Way from 2017 to 2019, contributing to organizational initiatives. Additionally, Sonja has been a Vice President at the Communication Workers of America (CWA) since January 2009, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to labor representation and community involvement.
