Shumita Kakkar

Shumita Kakkar has held a variety of roles in the past 16 years. In 2004, they began their career as Manager - Promotions at Wizcraft International Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Three years later, in 2007, they joined Vodafone as a Management Trainee and was promoted to Head VAS & Data, Marketing - VAS, Voice/Text/Data, and Marketing Acquisitions, Usage & Retention - Post Paid. Shumita delivered YoY growth of 135%. In 2014, they moved to Samsung Electronics as Manager, and then to U2opia Mobile as Business Head in 2015. In 2017, they became the CEO of 6T Seconds Mobile LLP. Most recently, in 2020, they founded and became the Director of United We Care, a platform that provides social, mental, financial and legal support for all genders who are going through a difficult time.

Shumita Kakkar's education history includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism Management (PGDTM) from Symbiosis International University from 2005 to 2007, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics and English from AGDC from 2001 to 2004, and a Higher Secondary School in Commerce from Indian Language School from 1997 to 2000.
