Eric Kimminau

Eric Kimminau's work experience spans over several years, with their most recent position being a Senior Principal Engineer at United Wholesale Mortgage. In this role, they focused on driving improvements in infrastructure, systems, and applications through assessments and seeking opportunities for enhancement. Eric has experience in genAI prompt engineering using various technologies to support business processes, application development, systems administration, and process improvement.

Prior to their current role, Eric held positions at various companies such as Daimler Detroit, where they served as a Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Solution Architect. In this role, they led the strategy, design, and delivery of high availability/disaster recovery active:datacentre environments, and developed strategies for Big Data and Data Lake in the MS Azure Cloud.

Eric also has experience as a Master Enterprise Architect, having worked at Hewlett-Packard and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In these roles, they led architecture teams in defining, designing, planning, and delivering enterprise data center migrations. Eric was responsible for ensuring infrastructure design and implementation in line with global Agile development and deployment teams, with a specific focus on security, performance, and disaster recovery.

Eric's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Architect at Ally Financial Inc., where they coordinated concurrent Datacenter relocations and refreshes, and as a Sr. Enterprise Architect at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where they developed infrastructure and application design for client-facing portals in the AWS cloud.

Additionally, Eric has worked as an Owner at RLKD, Inc./RALEKIDO, LLC., providing consulting and services in Infrastructure Architect.

Eric's career also includes positions at IBM Global Services, where they served as a Global Infrastructure Architect for GM Global Business Services, and at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) - GM/OnStar, where they worked as a Sr. Strategic Infrastructure Architect. Eric also worked as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Rainfinity.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated technical leadership, expertise in infrastructure and application design, development, deployment, and support, and a focus on achieving target service level agreements. Eric possesses certifications in ITIL Foundations and the Ally Apex process.

Eric Kimminau attended Elkins Institute of Technology from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained a degree in Digital Electronics (AE). In addition, Eric has obtained various certifications, including but not limited to ChatGPT and Copilot in 4 Hours, Effective ChatGPT Prompts, and Get People to Do Stuff from O'Reilly. Eric also completed certifications in Prompt Engineering, Personal brand building, and Pro Growth, Personal Dev, among others.
