Amit Arwindekar M.D.

Amit Arwindekar, MD MBA, has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare. Amit currently serves as the Medical Director for North America at UnitedHealthcare Global. Prior to this role, they worked at UI Health as an Emergency Medicine Physician and also served as the Director of Operations. Amit has also held positions at AXA Assistance as a Senior Associate Medical Director and at US Acute Care Solutions as an Associate Medical Director. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Emergency Physician at Emergency Medicine Physicians.

Dr. Amit Arwindekar received their Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland in 2002. Following this, they attended the Georgetown University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2008 and earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. In the same period, they also pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, which they completed in 2008. Dr. Arwindekar further obtained certification in Emergency Medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in December 2022.
