Avi Cantor

Avi Cantor is a Jr. A&R Manager at UnitedMasters since May 2023, specializing in discovering and signing emerging artists in Hip-Hop, R&B, and Afrobeats, including the recent signing of Anycia. Concurrently, Avi has served as a writer for Daily Chiefers since April 2021, focusing on up-and-coming rap and pop acts while curating playlists for rising artists. Previous roles include A&R and digital marketing consulting at Simple Stupid Records and segment correspondent and writer for "On the Street" at What's The T News, where routine interviews and scriptwriting were conducted. With earlier experience as an A&R intern at Alamo Records and StreamCut Media, along with editorial and promotional work for various music publications, Avi has developed a comprehensive background in the music industry, rooted in a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from Temple University.
