Unity House
Nicole Hube is a dedicated nonprofit professional and experienced multimedia coordinator currently serving as a Multimedia and Development Coordinator at Unity House while also volunteering as a firefighter at the CLAY Volunteer Fire Department. Previously, Nicole worked as a Public Relations Specialist at the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation, where responsibilities included managing communications and media coverage for school events. Additional experience includes roles as Newsroom Manager and Copy Editor at Sample News Group, Director of Photography at The Oswegonian, and various positions at WTOP-10 TV. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Mass Communication from the State University of New York at Oswego and is currently participating in the Leadership Cayuga program. Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illness, and substance use recovery, Nicole aims to make a positive impact in the community.

Unity House
Unity House provides transitional and permanent housing, respite care, and rehabilitative and employment services for individuals with mental illnesses, developmental/intellectual disabilities, and/or chemical dependencies from which they are recovering. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1977, Unity House partners with these individuals to develop their personal skills and potential, enabling them to live more full and independent lives. The agency is committed to providing consumer-centered and consumer-driven services, programs, and supports, serving more than 700 consumers a day in six central New York counties (Cayuga, Tompkins, Wayne, Onondaga, Seneca, and Ontario). Unity House also seeks to free our communities of misconceptions associated with disabilities through innovation, education, and advocacy. Unity House’s headquarters are located in Auburn, New York. The agency employs more than 300 people and is licensed by the New York State Office of People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), the New York State Department of Health (DOH), and the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS).
