Balaji Sankaranarayanan

Balaji Sankaranarayanan is an experienced professional in the field of technology and digital transformation, currently serving as the Head of IT Architecture and Service Strategy at Unity Small Finance Bank since September 2024. Previously, Balaji held the position of Senior Vice President of Technology Special Projects at Equitas Small Finance Bank from May 2017 to August 2024, where responsibilities included financial software implementation and digital transformation. Balaji also served as the Head of Technology Innovation and Architecture at Equitas, focusing on people management and software development. Prior experience includes a role as Group CTO at Belstar Microfinance Limited, where Balaji spearheaded digital-first solutions and launched various technology initiatives. Additionally, Balaji worked as Head of BSG Technology at SMFG India Credit, overseeing program management and project implementation.
