Liam Marshall has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Liam is currently the Head of Product at Unity Trust Bank, where they are responsible for the development and improvement of customer-facing banking, savings, lending, and payments products. Liam also oversees the brand new customer-facing digital channels. Prior to this, Liam worked at Santander UK, where they held various senior digital management roles. In these positions, they managed the risk program for customer-facing digital assets, led a team of developers to develop mobile banking propositions, and worked on increasing usage and engagement within online and mobile banking channels. Liam also worked as a Relationship Manager, where they managed a large portfolio of clients and played a role in the ideation of a new operating model. Before joining Santander, they worked as a Business Specialist at HSBC Commercial Banking.

Liam Marshall has pursued their education in three different institutions. In 2006, they enrolled at King Edward VI College and completed their A-level degree in History, English Language & Literature, Law, and Psychology in 2008. After a significant gap in their education, Liam joined The London Institute of Banking & Finance in 2021 to study Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law for a year. In 2022, they continued their education at the same institution, this time focusing on Finance, General. In addition to their academic pursuits, Liam has also obtained two certifications from The London Institute of Banking & Finance. In December 2021, they received a Certificate in Business Banking and Conduct (CertBB&C®), and in November 2022, they obtained a Diploma in Business and Commercial Banking and Conduct (DipBB&C®).
