Alec Steils

Alec Steils is an experienced healthcare professional with a comprehensive background in nursing and administration. Currently serving at UnityPoint Health since December 2017, Alec holds the roles of Nurse Practitioner, Board Governance member, House Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Registered Nurse. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Shadow Creek Crossing Homeowners’ Association from May 2020 to December 2021 and as Executive Director/Administrator at Care Initiatives between November 2009 and January 2020. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Master of Science in Nurse Practitioner from Morningside University, as well as dual Bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Science, both earned summa cum laude from Wartburg College and Allen College, respectively.
