Director And Research Scientist Of The Laboratory For The Socio-ecological Studies Of Landscapes at Univap

Nathan D. Vogt is an experienced research scientist and director of the Laboratory for the Socio-Ecological Studies of Landscapes at Univap - Universidade do Vale do Paraíba since February 2020. Previous roles include associate researcher at UFPA - IDRC, co-principal investigator at the National Institute of Space Research, and post-doctoral fellow at INPE, focusing on land use changes and climate adaptations in the Amazon region. Nathan has also collaborated with prestigious institutions such as Indiana University and Columbia University, contributed to the Food for Work Project with the UN World Food Programme, and served in the Peace Corps. Nathan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Science, a Master's Degree in Environmental Science, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry.
