Hooman Hakim

Hooman Hakim has extensive work experience in supply chain management and operations. Hooman currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Ventura Foods since September 2019. Before that, they held various roles at Univar starting from 2011, including Vice President of Supply Chain Planning & Optimization and Vice President of Transportation & Supply Chain.

Prior to their time at Univar, Hakim worked at ExxonMobil from 2001 to 2011. During their tenure, they served as a Process Section Supervisor, Coordination & Economics Section Supervisor, Energy Section Supervisor, Refinery Operations Coordinator / Refinery Economist, and Process Engineer. In these roles, they oversaw daily operations, managed personnel, ensured compliance with legal and environmental regulations, and led strategic assessments to maintain competitiveness.

Hakim began their career with internships at Anheuser-Busch and Baxter in 2000, gaining experience in engineering and quality validation.

Hooman Hakim completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from UCLA in 2001 and later obtained a Master's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2004.
