David Sypher

David Sypher has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. David is currently the Vice President of Product Management at Univeris since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Trading Central from 2013 to 2021 as the VP Product Strategy, where they were responsible for global product strategy, road mapping, innovation leadership, and product process. David also had a brief stint as an Advisor at Triggerfox Corporation in 2013. Before that, they had a long tenure at TD Bank Financial Group, where they held various roles including AVP Online Strategy and Planning, AVP Wealth Management Web Strategy, and AVP Client Systems, Wealth Management. David was also the SVP of Electronic Channels at TD Waterhouse Investor Securities, Inc. from 1998 to 2003, where they led the electronic channels for the largest discount brokerage in Canada.

David Sypher has an Honours BCOM degree in Securities Analysis from McMaster University, which they obtained from 1980-1984. In 2009, they completed the TD Leadership Program at Western University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Primitives and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Infrastructure from Coursera in 2022, Certified Product Manager (CPM) from Pragmatic Institute in 2020, Partners Directors and Officers certification from the Canadian Securities Institute in 2001, Registered Representative certification from the Canadian Securities Institute in 1998, and the Canadian Securities Course certification from the Canadian Securities Institute in 1994.
