Marko Chersicola, PhD has been working in the field of bioinformatics since 2012. Marko started as a Young Researcher at the National Institute of Biology. In 2017, they joined GenePlanet as a Bioinformatician. Currently, they are a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Universal Diagnostics SL.

Marko Chersicola, PhD, obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Information Technology from Mednarodna podiplomska šola Jožefa Stefana and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Ljubljana.
