Reggie Rivers has varied work experience in multiple industries. Reggie started their career as a professional football player, serving as a Running Back for the Denver Broncos Football Club from 1991 to 1997. After leaving the NFL, Reggie worked as a Radio Talk Show Host for Clear Channel from 1997 to 2002. Reggie then transitioned into the media industry, working as a Sports Anchor for CBS from 2006 to 2009 and as an Opinion Editorial Columnist for The Denver Post from 2000 to 2006. In addition, Reggie also hosted the "Global Agenda" show on KBDI Channel 12 (PBS) from 2002 to 2005.
Reggie later explored the business world, serving as a Business Analyst Consultant for Newmont Mining Corporation from 2012 to 2013. Reggie also founded and served as President / CEO of Automated Flipcards, LLC., a data-integration tool company, from 2011 to 2014. Reggie's entrepreneurial ventures continued with their role as Director of Business Partnerships at Universal Lending Corporation, where they focused on marketing, promotions, and new business development from 2014 to the present. Reggie also founded The Gala Team in 2013, a company helping nonprofits expand their impact through fundraising strategies.
Additionally, Reggie has extensive experience as a Keynote Speaker on NFL strategies improving corporate leadership development and team-building since 1992.
Reggie Rivers completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism from Texas State University. Reggie attended this institution from 1986 to 1991. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Global Studies from the University of Denver, which they completed from 2004 to 2007. In May 2019, Reggie obtained a certification as a Benefit Auction Specialist (BAS) from the National Auctioneers Association.
