Rebecca Sandel

Rebecca Sandel has a strong background in legal and business affairs. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Solicitor at Griffith Nicholson Lawyers in Sydney until 2010. In 2011, they served as Counsel, Commercial, Technology, and Intellectual Property on secondment at Westpac. From 2010 to 2012, they were an Associate at HWL Ebsworth. Rebecca joined Universal Music Australia in 2012 and held various roles within the company, including Manager, Director, and Senior Director of Legal and Business Affairs. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Vice President of Legal & Business Affairs at Universal Music Australia.

Rebecca Sandel completed a BA in Politics and LLB at Macquarie University from 2002 to 2008. Rebecca also attended the University of Richmond School of Law in 2006 and 2007 as an exchange student, focusing on IP Law and Music. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Laws (Innovation Law)(Media & Technology Law) at UNSW.
