Shane Darcy

Shane Darcy, ACCA, is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance. Currently serving as a Financial Accountant at Universal Music Australia since October 2024, Shane previously held the position of Senior Project Accountant at ForHealth Group from March 2024 to October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Financial Accountant at Blackhawk Network Europe from October 2019 to September 2023, where responsibilities encompassed periodic close and reporting in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP, as well as balance sheet reconciliations. Shane began a career in finance as an Audit Junior at OSK from June 2018 to August 2019, with earlier experience as a Sales Assistant at Arcadia Group Ltd and as a Shop Assistant at Book Haven. Shane holds a Qualified ACCA Accountant designation, obtained from 2019 to July 2021, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Maynooth University, earned between 2015 and 2018.
