Erik Backman

Erik Backman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the music and auditing industries. Currently serving as Finance Director at Universal Music Sweden since July 2015, Erik has held various roles including Head of Finance Operations and Financial Controller. Prior to this, Erik worked at PwC Sverige from September 2011 to June 2015 as Assistant Audit Manager and Senior Associate Auditor in the Retail & Consumer sector. Erik's career also includes a brief tenure as a Finance Assistant at Dalkia in mid-2011 and as a Back Office Assistant at Lannebo Fonder in 2009-2010. Erik holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics with a specialization in Accounting from Stockholm University and has furthered education at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW in 2010.
