Sarah Kelley P.e.

Sarah Kelley, P.E. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sarah began their career as an Engineering Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where they worked on data organization and vibration analysis projects. Sarah then interned at the Ohio Department of Transportation, updating a project history database and creating programs for data analysis. At Caterpillar Inc., they further developed their engineering skills by assisting in the design and testing of pressure relief valves. Sarah then gained experience in boat design as an Engineering Intern at Brunswick Boat Group - US Marine, where they researched boat helm ergonomics and oversaw the production of an adjustable model. Sarah continued their education at The Ohio State University, where they served as a Teaching Assistant for a mechanical and industrial engineering class. Their teaching role involved overseeing group design projects and teaching the lab section. Sarah's career moved into project management at Aeronautical Systems Engineering, Inc. (ASE) as a Mechanical Engineer and later as a Projects Director. In these roles, they planned and executed projects within deadlines and budgets, managing team members and third-party contractors. Currently, they are employed at Universal Destinations & Experiences, where they have held various positions, including Mechanical Engineer, Supervisor, Manager, Assistant Director, and Director. These roles have involved overseeing design engineering, engineering and safety, and tech services engineering for Universal Orlando.

Sarah Kelley, P.E. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2005. Following this, they pursued a dual Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2005 to 2007. In May 2019, they also obtained the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.
