Alina Sigaro

Alina Sigaro serves as the Vice President of Distribution EMEA at Universal Pictures International since October 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing the release of Universal films across over 15 markets and managing regional operations in EMEA, India, and select European countries. Prior to this role, Sigaro held the position of Director of Distribution at Alta Classics, focusing on enhancing marketing strategies for arthouse films, and worked at Columbia Tristar Films de España as a Coordinator/Deputy in the Theatrical Division. Earlier experience includes a significant role at Columbia Tristar Film Distributors International, where Sigaro was part of the team establishing the Sales & Distribution department for Latin America and Southeast Asia. Sigaro’s educational background includes an MD in Marketing & Distribution from Media Business School, a BLitt in Modern Literature from the University of Buenos Aires, and a Filmmaking Degree from Centro Experimental y de Realización Cinematográfica.
