Kemar Thomas

Kemar Thomas is currently the General Counsel of Operations at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company. Prior to this, Kemar held various legal positions including Junior Partner at Luks, Santaniello, Petrillo, Cohen & Peterfriend, Associate General Counsel at Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company, and Assistant Public Defender at The Office of the Public Defender. With experience in trying over 40 jury trials and managing a caseload of over 250 clients, Kemar has a strong background in law. Kemar also has experience as a Student Governor at the Florida Bar Board of Governors and has held legal intern positions at the Office of The State Attorney and 15th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Kemar holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law.
