Carrie Woods

Carrie Woods has extensive work experience in the education sector. Since 2021, they have served as the Director of Education at Universal Technical Institute, Inc. In this role, they manage and directs the Education department, oversees daily operations, and leads a team to achieve business results. Carrie also takes on the responsibility of a Campus Security Authority for data collection and reporting.

From 2010-2020, Carrie worked at ELS Educational Services, Inc. Carrie held various roles including Acting Regional Director of US Operations, Center Director, Academic Director, Assistant Academic Director, International Student Advisor, and Instructor. In these positions, they focused on increasing enrollment, managing operations, and maintaining relationships with universities. Carrie also trained and supervised staff, oversaw academic programs, and counseled students on college admissions and immigration status. Their accomplishments include achieving the highest enrollment among all 33 ELS US locations and enhancing student services.

Carrie Woods holds a Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, which they obtained from Azusa Pacific University in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in 1998. Additionally, Carrie has obtained certifications as a Designated School Official, IELTS Invigilator, and TOEFL Test Site Administrator from various institutions.
